I’m Amanda - a mobile wedding and makeup artist with 18+ years of experience, and the Central Coast is one of my favourite places to work. From the stunning ocean beaches of Terrigal and Avoca to the beautiful waterways of Gosford and the hinterland properties tucked behind the ridge, this region has a variety of wedding settings that I genually love being part of.

Being mobile means I come to you - your venue, your hotel, your home. No rushing your bridal party across town on the morning of your wedding. I arrive, I set up, and we spend the morning exactly where you want to be, getting ready at a pace that feels calm and enjoyable rather than rushed and stressful.

Bells at Killcare

Bells at Killcare is simply one of the most beautiful wedding destinations on the Central Coast, the lush hinterland setting, boutique bungalows and genuinely warm hospitality create an atmosphere that feels truly special from the moment you arrive. The natural light in the cottages is wonderful for wedding hair and makeup, and the whole property has a romantic, unhurried quality that makes every bride feel like a complete priority.

Crowne Plaza Terrigal

Crowne Plaza Terrigal sits right above one of the Central Coast’s most beautiful beaches, offering stunning ocean views and large, well-appointed rooms that are perfect for getting ready. The light here is excellent for wedding makeup, and the hotel’s polished facilities mean the whole morning flows seamlessly. I love working here, the Terrigal beachfront backdrop makes for the most beautiful wedding morning photos.

The Entrance Leagues Club

The Entrance Leagues Club offers a versatile, beautifully maintained wedding venue right on the water at The Entrance. The facilities are generous and comfortable, with plenty of space for the bridal party to relax and enjoy the preparation together. Its waterfront location means brides are treated to gorgeous natural light all morning, ideal conditions for wedding hair and makeup.

Mantra Ettalong Beach

Mantra Ettalong Beach has a lovely, relaxed coastal energy that perfectly captures the spirit of a Central Coast wedding. The resort-style rooms are spacious and bright, giving me excellent conditions for bridal hair and makeup, and the beachside location means the whole party arrives already feeling a little bit on holiday. I always enjoy working here, the atmosphere is warm, fun and completely relaxed.

Sergeants Mess Chowder Bay

Sergeants Mess is a stunning heritage venue that combines dramatic harbour views with beautifully restored colonial architecture. The unique character of the building and its waterside position creates a wedding backdrop unlike anything else in the region. The natural light flooding through the historic windows is extraordinary for wedding hair and makeup, I love working somewhere with this much atmosphere and soul.

Palmdale Orchard

Palmdale Orchard captures the relaxed, earthy beauty of the Central Coast hinterland in the most charming way. The rustic orchard setting and beautiful garden spaces create a naturally romantic atmosphere that suits both boho and classic bridal styles. The getting-ready facilities are comfortable and well-lit, and I always find the fresh country air and greenery makes for the most beautiful, natural-looking wedding hair and makeup results.

Elopements and Intimate Weddings

Hair and Makeup for Elopements & Intimate Weddings

Elopements and intimate weddings feel so at home on the Central Coast - there’s a natural, unhurried quality to this stretch of coastline that suits a smaller, more personal celebration perfectly. A clifftop ceremony at Bouddi, a quiet exchange on the beach at Avoca, an intimate gathering at a property overlooking Terrigal lagoon, small weddings here never feel like they’re missing anything. If anything, they feel more considered. More intentional. Exactly right.

For elopements and micro-weddings on the Central Coast, my minimum booking is three people for both hair and makeup, and a travel fee of $150-$200 applies depending on your location within the region. Within that, you get the full Bellus experience - the same kit, the same airbrush setup, the same unhurried attention I’d bring to a party of fourteen. Small doesn’t mean less. It just means the morning belongs entirely to you.

How much does hair and makeup cost for a Central Coast wedding?

Bridal hair is $160 and bridal makeup is $160, so a bride booking both is $320. Bridesmaids are $150 for each service, guests are $140 and mothers of the bride and groom are $130 for makeup. Travel to the Central Coast is $150 to $200 depending on your venue. Trials are $150 each and a $300 deposit secures your date. There is a minimum booking of three people for both hair and makeup, and full pricing for every service is on my pricing page.

Do you travel to all Central Coast areas?

Yes, I cover the full Central Coast from Gosford and Terrigal down to Woy Woy and up to Wyong and beyond. A travel fee of $100-$150 applies for Central Coast weddings depending on location.

What time do you arrive for a Central Coast wedding?

I always factor in travel time and arrive 15 minutes before we begin. For early morning ceremonies or beach starts I can begin as early as 4am if needed.

Can you accommodate outdoor or beach getting-ready locations on the Central Coast?

Absolutely, I’m very experienced with outdoor and coastal preparation setups. I set up wherever the natural light is best and use products specifically chosen to perform beautifully in the Central Coast’s relaxed coastal conditions.

How far in advance should I book for a Central Coast wedding?

Central Coast summer and spring Saturdays fill quickly, I’d recommend enquiring 12 months or more in advance to secure your date, especially for popular venues like Bells at Killcare and Crowne Plaza Terrigal.
