I’m Amanda Frost from Bellus, and I travel to Long Jetty and the surrounding lakeside area to provide professional bridal hair and makeup on your wedding morning. Whether you’re getting ready in a characterful cottage, a rented studio apartment, or somewhere along the lake’s edge, I’ll come to you with everything I need. Long Jetty brides tend to have a strong personal style - independent, thoughtful, and often not interested in looking like a generic bride. I love that. My approach has always been to work with the person in front of me, not to produce a formula, and Long Jetty brides tend to appreciate exactly that.

The suburb has evolved into something genuinely interesting - there are good cafes, a community feel, and a pace that isn’t driven by tourism the way Terrigal or The Entrance can be. I build every morning around a detailed timeline that accounts for your full party and finish time, and I manage that timeline carefully throughout. No one is rushed, no one is waiting too long, and the bride is always my priority. If you’ve booked a trial, which I strongly recommend, we arrive on the morning with a documented plan. I take notes and photographs at the trial so that on the wedding day, I’m executing a look we already know works. There’s no uncertainty, no last-minute improvisation. Just a calm, focused morning that ends with you looking exactly as you’d hoped.

How much does hair and makeup cost for a Long Jetty wedding?

Bridal hair is $160 and bridal makeup is $160, so the bride is $320 for both. Bridesmaids are $150 for hair and $150 for makeup, mothers of the bride and groom are $130 for makeup, and flower girls start at $60. Long Jetty is in my Central Coast travel band, so a $150 to $200 fee is added and confirmed in your quote, and the price is the same for a rented cottage on the lake as for a hotel suite. An unconventional brief costs no more than a traditional one, trials are $150 each, and a $300 deposit holds the date.

Do you travel to Long Jetty for weddings?

Yes, Long Jetty is within my Central Coast service area. I travel to your home or accommodation on the morning of your wedding. Travel fees apply based on distance from Cameron Park, and I'll confirm the amount when you enquire.

Do you cater to non-traditional or alternative bridal aesthetics?

Absolutely. Long Jetty has a creative and individual community and I love working with brides who have a distinct personal style. I'll create whatever look feels most authentically you - whether that's unconventional, pared-back, maximalist, or somewhere in between.

Can I book hair only, or makeup only?

Yes of course, it's a more streamlined morning if I do both, but yes I can do hair and/or makeup for you and your bridal party, I'll let you know what I can accommodate based on your date and requirements.

How long does the bridal morning take?

Allow around 60 minutes for the bride, and approximately 45 minutes per additional party member depending on the service. I'll calculate the full timeline once I know your numbers and your required finish time.

When should I reach out to book?

As early as possible, 12 to 18 months ahead is ideal for peak Saturday dates. Even if your wedding is sooner, it's absolutely worth enquiring. Availability changes regularly and I occasionally have space closer to the date than you might expect.
